Had never purchased Taos shoes before and decided to take the plunge as I have not been able to find any casual shoes/sneakers with decent arch support. I usually take a size 9 in sneakers and had read in the Taos sight that going up a half size was the way to go. However Zappos kept “reminding” me that an 8 1/2 was my size! Ordered them and they fit perfectly. The arch support is “ok” for sneakers. They seem supportive so far. I like the color as well. Only thing I found was that the heel was a little loose. Glad I didn’t size up. Pricey too!

Love Taos sneakers. I have had plantar fasciitis. Taos sneakers are the only ones with great arch support
That being said, this particular model does not have the same arch as some of the other styles – Moc Star, etc. I will just trad the insoles.

I love the shoes – I’m 65 and not very stylish, IMO, but these are so cute and so comfortable, HOWEVER, the have rubbed blisters on my heals, think it’s just the break in period and I’m overall happy with them. I have a whole wardrobe of shoes and sandals from Taos – love them all!

The fit and size are great. These shoes are very comfortable and stylish. I have even been able to wear them on several 2 mile walks with no discomfort.

Love these shoes! They’re cute, comfortable right out of the box and I started getting compliments on them the first time I wore them. And they have a zipper on the side so they don’t even need to be tied and untied. It’s a win-win!

I really liked this shoe, however it kept slipping on the heel. I tried putting different insoles but that did not help. Will return. They have great arch support for someone with high arches. Taos are great shoes.

Fit and size were acceptable. The shoe allows room in the toe area and hugs my narrow heels. Size 8.5 was spot-on. The shoe works well with narrow jeans, shorts and spring, summer, autumn tops. Arch support is superior to my Chuck Taylors which are not fit for long strolls. I’m looking forward to testing the functional zipper which also adds a bit of style. A bit pricy. I think that I made the right choice.

Ok, I really wanted to love these. They are so cute! But the footbed is oddly short; probably half a size smaller than the stated size. And the heel is slipping constantly, like it would pull down my socks & if I walked a while, would definitely cause blisters. I’ve never had a pair of shoes tight at the front & sort of baggy-feeling at the back. If you have thicker ankles & need solid arch support, these might be an excellent style to try.

I have had these shoes now for over a year and love them. They are very comfortable, easy to get on and off and give great support. I have some hip issues and need shoes that provide stability and these do just that.

I loved these shoes and I wanted them to fit so bad! Howeve,r they were not wide enough for my foot. I have bought many sandals from this brand for years. I was excited to buy the sneakers and if they ever make them in wide sizes I will be a customer for sure. I saw after the fact that they recommend that you buy the next size up but even that would not have helped the fact that they were too narrow for me.

My first pair of Taos shoes that have worked. Sometimes this brand has too much arch support for me, but these are great. I usually wear a 7. Sized up to 7.5 and it works. Loving the zipper, and the arch support and they are just cute shoes. Brightens up my usually blander shoe choices–have gotten lots of compliments.

I originally ordered in 9W thinking the little extra width would reduce the risk of the length being too short. But, no. I reordered in 9.5 and the fit is correct–I’m usually a 9 in Taos so I’m going to say they run a half size too short. I’m not sure though that I think there is a noticeable difference between the Wide width and the Medium. I own these identical shoes in a medium width (ordered back when W width wasn’t available in this shoe) and the wide feels the same really. These are super cute shoes and, based on the older pair I own, the material wears well. They are a bit stiff at first, but give them just a little wear time and they conform to your foot quite well.

This blue floral pair is my second purchase of the Z-Soul. I also have the golden yellow. The zipper allows me the easy slip-on slip-off that I want and the ability to have a tied shoe style (without having to do the tying/untying). The arch support is a must have for me these days and they’re as supportive (maybe a little more so) than my old Star model that I’ve had for a while. I have narrow heels and the shoes slip up and down a little at the heels at first, but aren’t too bad (no blisters or anything like that) once the shoe is broken in a bit. Both colors I have are vibrant. I generally wear 6.5 in shoes and the 6.5 for these works.

Love that these are available in a wide width. The Toe Box is great and the zipper on the side adds visual interest. There is a decent amount of arch support which is great. I was able to wear them right out of the box with no break-in.

Super comfortable travel shoes, laces could be a little shorter and easier to tuck in and the zipper possibly a little smoother but overall I love these and have been wearing them constantly!

$110 loss for me since they’re a half size too small. I couldn’t believe it because I always wear 8 and 8.5/39 wide, so I wore them for a few days and kept complaining about sore toes. I finally realized they’re too short for me. I picked up a used pair of size 9 and they fit perfect and I love them. I think these are great shoes, just order a half size larger than you’re used to.

I’m normally an 8-1/2 and have a wide toe box, so I ordered 8-1/2 wide. My toes were at the top of the shoe, so I returned them for a 9 wide. They fit perfectly. Superior arch support, very comfortable, and I love the zipper for easy on and off. Great pair of stylish shoes.

Love these shoes! Not only are they cute, but they’re comfortable. I have wide feet, and ankle issues. I was skeptical, but I love them so much I ordered a second pair. I get compliments on them every time I wear them, and my feet don’t hate me at the end of the day.

Very poor workmanship for the price. The white plastic portions that wrap around the base of the sole are uneven, and parts of them extend a few mm beyond the sole, touching the ground. They make an awful squeak with every step. See pics. Going back! Thanks Zappos for the fast delivery and easy return.

These were hard to get right in size. I followed reviewers and ordered a half size larger than my ususal 7 1/2 M. I also ordered a wide width, which I never have to. First order was a 7 1/2. Problem was my right foot is slightly smaller than my left and my left has a bunion. Felt great on my right but toes were touching on left. The width was fine in wide so no bunion rubbing. After a few days wearing in house a bit, they felt better until I put on thin socks. Hmm, what to do? So I tried the size 8 wide and also ordered the Plim Soul in size 8 regular width, which people seem to love. I hated the Pilm , despite good reviews. Size 8 regular width was fine, but the stitching rubbed my upper foot. Back to the Z soul. The 8 W felt slightly big without socks, but with socks fine as long as I pulled the ties tight. Zipper on left was a bit stiff but getting easier to pull up now. I was on the fence between the 7 1/2 W and 8 W. Ultimately I went with 8 wide because I can always wear socks and probably should! I plan on wearing these to Europe where I walk alot so my feet will appreciate the extra room. Cute style. Got the black with white soles. No rubbing anywhere. These definitely run small and narrow so size up. You have to unlace the laces a bit to get the zipper working but after you figure out how loose or tight to make the laces, no more worries, just zip on and off. Arch support is good. I have a pair of Hokas, and these shouldn’t be compared to them. Different animal. These however, will look cute with dresses. Hokas are great, but lets face it. they look like clown shoes once on.
