Based on the 2 reviews that were posted raving about how great and comfortable these shoes were I ordered a pair because they looked stylish. Perhaps the previous reviewers had smaller feet and they just fit differently but these shoes were not comfortable to me – the footbed had no shape – just flat – so with the raised heel my foot just slid/swam around in these. I wear a size 11 narrow shoe. The width was not the issue but how the straps were spread out – there was no support for my foot to stay on the back of the shoe. I walked around my house in them for a while – expecting the “SOFFT” feel and my feet hurt because they did not feel cushioned or soft to me. I ended up buying the Bogs Amma Gladiator sandal with contoured footbed and felt much better quality and comfort to walk in. They definitely felt more secure on my foot too.

I bought these sandals about two days before I was set to leave for a 12 day trip to Ireland and Italy. While I didn’t wear them in Ireland (too cold), I wore them extensively throughout Italy, sometimes walking five to six miles a day. These sandals were very comfortable and didn’t cause any aches or pains in my feet or legs. They are very cute as well. I highly recommend these sandals to anyone looking for comfort and style. Some have commented on the buckle hitting at the ankle, but this was never an issue for me.

Comfortable!! Took straight out of box and walked the cobble stone streets of Italy for hours. No blisters or rubbing. Perfect! Going to purchase a second pair. Usually wear a 6 to 61/2- ordered 6 Medium great fit.

These sandals are fantastic. I have a lot of foot problems and these sandals are supportive, stable, and have the right amount of give in the sole to allow for some shock absorbtion. I wore them all around Europe walking all day long and my feet never hurt. They are also great if you need to wear orthotics like me. The slightly rubbery sole allows for good cushioning while walking. They’re also easy to clean if they get a little dusty/dirty. Great quality and healthy for feet!

I took these to Italy and wore them for the better part of three weeks and a lot of walking. They are so comfortable and offer great support. I have bought two more styles and love both! Many comfort shoes look too frumpy. These are comfortable and stylish.

I own many pairs of Sofft shoes and I love them all. This seems to be their best seller and sells out quickly. I generally wear a 9 but sometimes a 9.5 in high heels. I ordered the Mirabelle in a 9 and found it to be perfect. My width is Medium/Average with a very slight lean towards the narrow side, but I never order Narrow shoes. I ordered these in the rose gold and the color is stunning! The perfect neutral without being drab. Unfortunately the pair I recieved was damaged and I had to repurchase from Sofft to get my size. The leather is soft and beautiful. I have very high arches and while the arch support is not excellent for me, I think it is very good for most. I find these attractive and not “old lady” at all. I walked for several hours with an injured foot and fell in love. Now I want every color! Hopefully Zappos gets more in Rose Gold.

I wear an AFO on my left ankle and have struggled for years to find a sandal I can actually wear. These fit my brace (which has an orthotic attached) as well as accommodate my custom orthotic I wear on the other foot. I am so excited, after years of no sandals, to finally be able to wear something cute that is also supportive and comfortable!

*SO* much cuter in person! I will admit that I passed over these sandals many times until I saw them styled on a social media post. I am so happy that I gave them a chance (which I can do because Zappos makes things easy) – they are more stylish than they appear in the photo. I was also worried about the white sole looking odd, but it really doesn’t. They are very comfortable without looking frumpy, flattering to the feet, and a great alternative to a thong sandal. I have received many compliments and would highly recommend.
(For reference: the sandals are true to size and great for flat feet that lean on the wide side. I wear a 7.5 in Cole Haan and 8.5 in Asics running shoes. 7.5 in Sofft fits perfectly)

Oh, I wanted to love these shoes! I bought them for an upcoming trip to France and was so excited because of the other reviews, and yes, they are very comfortable and great for walking. But upon my second wear, I felt discomfort around my ankles and looked down to see that both of my ankles were rubbed raw and bloody. I definitely think it depends on how your foot is built, as another reviewer said. I just learned the hard way that the ankle straps didn’t land in the right place on my foot. Thank you to Eileen at Zappos for allowing me to return the shoes and for listening to my issue. Great Zappos customer service, as always!

Cute sandal. I normally wear 7.5, these sandals run slightly large and I found that size 7 fit better. Great quality shoe and the leather hold up nicely with wearing. I have planter fasciatis and found that shoe cushion was enough for day long wear. I usually walk 2-2.5 miles getting to/from work every day and these shoes were comfortable.

I wear a medium width size 10 shoe unless they run small and then 10.5. The 10 fit well. Love the style, although I thought the footbed would be a little softer, but it’s not too hard so it’s still moderately comfortable. The buckles rubbed my ankles, but I fixed the problem by covering the scratchy elastic with black 1-inch wide gorilla tape, which worked well on the black sandals. It negates the functionality of the elastic, but not the fit or comfort of the ankle strap.

These shoes had no break-in period for me, they were comfy right out of the box! And they are cute too. One problem I had: I originally bought them in the cork color and they made a ridiculous squeaky noises when I walked. I reordered them in the anthracite color and did not have that problem again. I think they run true-to-size; I bought them in my normal size 8. I have a wider foot, and these were perfect for me, so definitely not for a narrower foot.

I loved the look of this shoe and hoped to wear it on our trip to Spain this fall. I am generally a 9-9.5 and ordered the 9 which fit well. Sadly, the buckles rubbed my ankles so the shoes will be returned. The leather also made a squeaking noise. I am not sure if that would have gone away with continued wear.

Good news:
I’ve been watching these Mirabelle sandals for several months but was hesitant since I had not worn sandals like this before. Over the weekend, I happened to find them in a retail store and was able to try them on. Absolutely loved them! However, they were damaged. The threading was coming out on the strap near the toes. I stopped right there, pulled out my phone and bought them from Zappos! Yay!
Bad news: The pair from Zappos was damaged also!! ?
Super bummed as I wanted to wear them to a function I have tomorrow.
I called Zappos (amazing) Customer Service and I’ll be getting a new pair tomorrow! I so hope those are not damaged!!

Sofft has the most stylish “comfort” shoe / sandal styles I have found the last few years. I purchased the Gladiator w/sloping wedge style from Zappos two years ago in the same bronze – silver leather and still love them. You can walk in this ladies for hours! Only reason for four stars is the straps are a little loose around my ankles (they are on the smaller side). My footwear size can be an 8 or 8.5; the size 8 was perfect.

Not Sofft 🙁 Wore These for the first time today to the mall. Barely got inside and had to go to the concierge for a bandage. Thank goodness they had one or I never would’ve made it back to the car. Seam dug in and tore my foot apart. I also ordered black because I loved the look so much but I’m obviously going to have to send those back. The look is otherwise very cute but not worth the pain!

Ordered these in silver and then black and then year later brown. They are super comfortable and stylish. Bought the initially for a trip to Ireland and walked all over while being dressy enough for a dinner out or going to a pub. Love them!

I’m bummed about these! I’ve been trying so hard to find a pair of sandals and I thought I was going to settle on these. However, the buckle rubs my ankle and I’m worried with actual wear it would hurt me. I thought I could work with that, maybe covering it somehow, but then I realized that they are asymmetrical. I’ve included a picture where I added red lines to show how the leather isn’t lined up. The gaps on either side of my toes make this obvious, as one side shows more skin than the other. One of the shoes also just looks sloppy in craftsmanship. The leather is poorly cut and has rough edges.

These are extremely comfortable. I have bunions so support is key. I can wear these for miles – and I have on vacation, sightseeing. They look great with shorts/tee, or a casual dress! Can’t go wrong…
