As far as skate shoes go, this has everything you’d want: board feel (even for a cupsole), heel cushion, AMAZING heel grip/support.
Sadly, their sizing is off for me and many others.
Usually I wear a US10 in NIKE, Adidas, DC, VANS, Emerica, all the usual suspects…in the NB#1010, US10 is a half size too big and hte 9.5 is just too tight, it ‘fits’ but it’s just too snug, especially if you have a wide toe box. Also, with the leather, the height of the toe box is very shallow, so not much wiggle room in there.

Runs true to length for my wide foot, but I could see someone with a narrow or even medium foot sizing down a half-size, due to the wider toe box. I’ve never seen a toe shaped like this in a legit sk8 shoe. And the outsole is not like the Marana, but thinner. Rest of shoe is thick. (May not look good with tighter pants?) These fit more like the length of a Lakai or Emerica, but without the pointy toe. I have to size up with the NewBalance vulcs (255, 306, and 379), but not these.

These shoes fit me perfectly; I’d say they run true to size. They offer a good amount of structure and arch support without being heavy or awkward. The look is very stylish with some nice little accent stitching in places. They incorporate elements of light hiking shoes (molded toe guards), skater shoes (padded tongue), and everyday sneakers. I also love that the laces are not overly long, so they don’t drag on the ground if you need to cinch them up a little tighter. The only negative I have found is that the heel could use more cushioning. If you are prone to heel-strike issues you may find the 1010s a little jarring. Bottom line – this is my third pair of New Balance sneakers and I expect to be a lifelong customer.

I started skating in the late 80s so I’ve seen many shoes come and go or come and stay and hope this one sticks around. ES Accel o.g. or some variation is my typical go to but at 42 yrs old this shoe would for sure be my go to if you guys brought back the original brown color way or something similar. Maybe solid grey with a gum sole? Some of the NB kicks are a little narrow but this one runs a little larger in the toe area which is great because it doesn’t rub the toe raw. Fits perfect with an FP high profile insole upgrade. Super grippy soles, and so far haven’t burned a flip trick hole through where I normally would have already with other shoes. I even started using them as a summer work shoe and it’s held up to 7 12 hr days a week. Most comfortable skate shoe I’ve owned so far but give us some more solid color way options.

Looks great and skates well. I love that I can use these for both casual walking and hardcore skating. In fact, I always have two pairs one for casual that I keep clean/fresh and one just for skateboarding. Super unique since nobody wears these. Love love love these shoes.

Everything is great with the shoe comfort and size wise but I must have gotten a defective pair as the glue around the sole is starting to show and coming out of the sole of the shoe 🙁

I love this shoe. Im a big fan of Tiago and when this shoe dropped, I knew I needed them. Ive been skating for over 20 years and its just by far my favorite shoe. All the colorways are on point, but this green/khaki was just perfect mix. I love it, I love the shoe and I love Tiago. All the best in skateboarding culminated in this shoe. 10/10

From my days walking in the warehouse to my nights skating in the streets the 1010s are comfortable and solid throughout. A classic silhouette with the utmost support.

I do not skateboard any more but I got these just for casual wear. They are very comfy while also being super sturdy. Because of their firmness, i laced them so that I can just tuck the laces into the shoe (instead of tie them) and have no issues. Also due to their neutral color I can rock them with almost any fit.

I love the look of the shoe, however, although they ‘fit’ my heel always slips out when I walk. The shoes are tied as tight as possible, and I know that this is not an issue of the shoes being too big, as my toes are right up against the front of the shoe. I simply would not fit in a smaller size, they are bordering on being too small, yet, my heels still slip out. It is very disappointing and I dont know what else to do.

Love the Tiago 1010’s. This was my second pair, first pair lasted over 2 years. They’re a little stiff when you first get them, but once they’re broken in they are super comfortable and durable. Great for going on hikes or walking too, not just skating.

These 1010’s are the best everyday shoe I’ve ever owned. They look and feel amazing but are becoming incredibly hard to find. I had bought the first colorway at a skate shop and fell in love with them.
