Fit true to size, comfy inside and tough materials outside- great buy for kid

I usually love Merrell and Keens for my 3.5 and 5.5 yr old but these Merrell’s were odd. I purchased a size 13 little kid. My son is currently in 12-12.5 little kid. I have a pair of Merrell sneakers size 12 that are getting too small so I’m familiar with how the brand fits. These were very large and very wide and needed to be returned. Disappointed.

Solid shoe, but they run very large, be prepared to size down 1-2 sizes in comparison to normal sneaker size

My son loves his Merrells but unfortunately this hydro 2 design was too big a fit. We got them in the size he usually wears in Merrells but they were too loose and there was no way to tighten the toe area effectively.
