My son needed a UPF long sleeved shirt for his scout trip to Seabase this summer. I like the Columbia brand and have had good experiences with other clothing from them. We ordered the Child XL in Navy/Super Blue. The shirt fits well and washed well with no problems. It is just what we needed.

My kids (and their friends) live in these shirts in the summer. Swimming, snorkeling, pretty much anything where they’ll probably get wet. Saves a bunch of time and whining about sunblock, and the fabric gets pretty cool when wet — in the shade with a breeze, almost chilly.

I ordered two of these shirts for my daughters thinking they were gonna be a thin material like the classing pfg shirt, but i was pleasantly surprised when i got them that they alot thicker. My girls loved them. They’re true to size.

Good quality at a great price.

The fabric is soft and stretchy and the best part is that my boys LOVE the colors and the fabric. It does run a bit small, but if you go up a size it would be perfect.
Ckurent –
Great for my sun to wear in the sun in order not to be burned.

Love that these rash guards are actually loose on the kiddo! He can move and play and we don’t have a fight about sunscreen. Unlike some other rash guards these aren’t a pain to get on and off (wet or dry) due to the relaxed fit.

My niece has a sensitive scar on her arm and sunscreen was irritating it so we thought to try these long sleeve swim shirts and problem solved. Comfortable and dries quickly. Back for a couple more.

He wore while inland fishing in SC to keep sun off body. It was lightweight and he loved the lime green color.

Nice durable thick material without being too hot. The bright aqua is much more green than it appears online (it’s like a teal/mermaid green in real life, but looked more aqua-blue on my screen) but is still a very pretty color. I am 5’2, 35″ chest 28″ waist and got the XL. I do a lot of kayaking and SUP and have fair skin so rash guards are an essential part of my summer wardrobe. Most women’s rash guards I have owned are skintight (by design, I guess that’s how surfers like to wear them) but they cling over a wet bathing suit and I am always concerned that they are too revealing when wet, or embarrassingly tight in the stomach and chest area. I prefer this model because it has a comfortable, loose fit that doesn’t cling. The thumb holes are great and the sleeves are long enough to provide good coverage to keep your hands out of the sun. If you wear a small to medium ladies top and are looking for a loose-fit, comfy shirt for sun protection, that isn’t a form-fitting “rash guard,” this top is great. Does not dry quite as quickly as I’d like but that is the only complaint. I liked it so much I ordered a couple more colors.

My child wore it all day on the lake yesterday for the first time. Even though we reapplied sunscreen so many times, her face still ended up sunburned. But, her torso was perfect. The rash guard did it’s job well! My only complaint is that the vinyl Columbia letters on the sleeve are half gone after only one wear.

Too snug, needed one size larger
Scott –
Nice quality but torso is short compared to sleeves. Almost a crop top!

Looks great with his trunks. He has long arms and fit was perfect. Washed really well and not tight

Fair skinned kiddo loves these shirts. Lightweight but sun protective.

Good quality. Wear really well. Kids love to wear them
