I was trying to replace a Columbia fleece jacket that over time had changed from true black to faded black (as other companies’ black fleece has done as well with time in the sun.) I first tried a Columbia Benton Springs black fleece but the fleece was thicker, cut slightly fuller, had elasticized wrists, and was a soft black. This jacket is more fitted, dark black, and has wrists without an elastic cuff. It seems a little more stylish if traveling lightly and needing something that can cross over from trails to dinner.

This is a stylish, well made jacket that I had hoped would work well for cool autumn days. I returned it, though, as it was too tight fitting and would not accommodate layers if I chose to wear a sweater over a blouse.

Great fit, very stylish. I am 5’4, 110 lbs. I debated between the S and XS, and ultimately chose XS because it was more form-fitting. I’m a night nurse and bought this primarily to wear over my scrub tops. If you want to layer this jacket, I’d recommend sizing up.

Fit usually a medium and ordered medium. Did not want elastic sleeves and the sleeves are long enough. Love the pocket on the sleeve for my fitbit. Would recommend.

A nice, soft layer of warmth with a stylish fit. Appreciate the fact that the wrists are not elasticized and that the cut is more from fitting and not boxy.

Love this fleece jacket. I’ve found that the Columbia Benton Spring Fleece runs large, but this runs true to size. I like how the wrist of the sleeves don’t have elastic in them so you can roll the sleeves up. Nice feature of having the pockets zip up so I can place my phone in one and not have to worry about it falling out when walking.

Fit true to size

I’m 5’3″, 125 lbs. with a 34DD bust. I’ve worn the Benton Springs Columbia jacket in a size Small for years, but it’s a little too bulky to fit under a coat as a mid layer, so I thought I’d try this one. I ordered a small and a medium. The length is good on both sizes. I could have worn the small, but it felt more constricting through the bust and the back than I prefer. I’ve kept the medium, but I’m still on the fence. While the body fits and feels better, the sleeves on the medium are a little long, and I don’t notice a lot of difference between the way this jacket layers and the Benton Springs. As expected, the quality of the fleece, the workmanship, and the extra features such as zippered pockets, drawstring bottom, inside pockets, and sleeve pocket are great. The jacket will hold up well. It’s soft, warm, light weight, and flattering. I ordered the black, and it’s a nice, rich shade. The only reason that I may not keep it is that I don’t notice much difference in it and the Benton Springs in terms of fit and comfort when using as a mid layer.

I bought a size larger than my last purchase of this jacket so that I could wear layers underneath. I was very disappointed to find that there is little difference in size between the two. It’s also not of the same quality as previous jackets. If I hadn’t already washed it, I’d send it back.

Nice quality ,but not designed for curvy women. I am always a small 5ft 3 in 130 lbs.llbean. land end and Eddie Bauer but your small is too slim at the waist. I ordered this in medium and just able to zip it up. Just a little constructive advise!!!

. It has a smooth finish to the fabric which makes it attractive and less bulky than sweater fleece. It is warm and cozy because the weave is denser than a sweater, and yet it unzips if you heat up. It is shaped slightly at the waist. It runs true to size. The aqua blue is lovely. Would welcome many more colors.

Super soft and warm. True to size and fits great. This will be a great coat for spring. Im 5’2 and 125 a medium fits with room for extra layers under.

The fit was as described, the size was spot on and it is perfect for me. I can unzip and cool off when needed and zip up again as the temps drop once more. It’s lightweight and easy to carry on trails in my pack.

Nice item, does just what I needed it for. Would recommend this item to a friend.

Bought this to replace my favorite one from Columbia that finally started showing signs of wear after several years. Great cut, durable fabric, cozy and simple. Highly recommended.

I can rock a women’s large, it fits snug and fits above the buckle for a gray Southern look. Also sport a gray/white bandanna around my neck or in my left front pocket.
The left arm pocket is where I keep my cartridge batteryall ways charged and usually correct

I’m very pleased with my new Women’s Fast Trek jacket from Columbia. After trying several fleece jacets, this is the one!
I was looking for a lighter weight fleece jacket for an upcoming trip. Temperatures should be pretty moderate, but for the occasional cooler night and cool airports, a little something warm was in order. And this fits the bill.
I also wanted something with zippered pockets. This jacket definitely delivered there as well. Two side zipped pockets, 1 zip pocket on the shoulder, and while not zipped, interior pocket space that holds my cell perfectly!
I recommend the Women’s Fast Trek.

I think this fleece jacket is perfect on cold mornings and thick enough to keep out light rain. I like the extra little pocket on the sleeve.

Good looking for bopping around, walking the dog in cooler weather, and so on. Better than a ratty old sweatshirt! Good pockets. Very happy with this purchase.

Medium was a perfect size (5′ 5″ 125 lbs) & sleeves were long enough. Soft fabric and thickness. Nice fit – not cropped or boxy.

Very nice medium weight jacket. Unfortunately, I will be returning it because it is too big on me. I ordered an XS but it is too wide and too long on me.
