Love these! So pretty, fit well. Maybe a hair small so if in between sizes consider sizing up. Real leather and gold buckle look great.

Compared these big buckle black Arizona size 41 Narrow to the Original black piled leather Arizona 40. Kept the big buckle version bc
1. Black leather footbed and big buckles have a more modern look perfect for late summer/fall
2. Although Narrow this model felt roomier than original model
3. I wear 9.5 shoes and size 41 was better size for my narrow foot

LOVE THE BLACK BIG GOLD BUCKLE SANDALS.
I am a 7 1/2 – 8 and get size 39/8 in Birkenstock and Mephisto sandals to prevent toes from bumping against risen insole rims. These sandals get compliments when worn to dinner on cruises. They are dressy and so comfortable out of the box. Had a little trouble getting a pair from Zappos that had not been returned after being worn and abused then overlooked by Zappos Return Dept. I cannot comprehend women who abuse with wear sandals/shoes then have the nerve to return for refunds. Zappos, please tighten up on these refunds. No reason to give refunds for sandals another will not accept as new. Thanks to Zappos for working to get me a pair I could accept even though these did have areas I had to work with a Birkenstock brush to pass for keeping. ZAPPOS, PLEASE LISTEN UP IF YOU WANT TO KEEP MY BUSINESS!

I love these I now have a pair in black and white. I got narrow as I heard they ran wide and they are perfect. Love the big buckles and they are not plastic like someone else said in a review.

I wanted to love this (black oiled with silver buckles; the part your foot goes on is black)), and the description said it was for narrow to normal width. However, it hit me on the side of my foot, so sadly these have to go back. FYI I also ordered the black oiled with gold buckles where the part that your foot goes on is cork / cork colored, and that one fit me just fine, and I intend to keep the one with the gold buckles. I’m not sure if it’s because of the different parts where your foot goes or if it’s just variation of the shoes.

These Birks are going back. I didn’t care for the shininess of the gold buckles. Also, the smooth footbed instead of the sueded footbed leather didn’t feel nice on the foot.

Fit and size is as usual with all birkies. Order the narrow even if your feet are wide. The 40 is my go to perfect size. I ordered the butter high shine and returned it. Looked and felt like plastic. I ordered the antique cognac as a replacement and they are beautiful!!

I am returning these because, although they are gorgeous, they really hurt my foot. I have many pairs of Arizonas and these seem to have a harder leather than any of the others, including my premium styles. after walking around the house with a light pair of socks on I decided to send them back because the break in period would have been longer than I could do because they were for a special occasion. Thank you Zappos for being so good at returns! That’s why I am a loyal customer.

I read all the reviews about the longer break in time, but still ordered these. I loved the black patent with the gold buckles and knew I could wear them so often. I am glad I did. I wore them the first time all day! I noticed they were a little stiffer than normal leather, but no stiffer than the birki material. If you adjust you buckles to fit you won’t have any trouble. They are so cute and gold just adds so much to them!

Shoes didn’t arrive in usual zappos box. It was in a bag that looked as if it was run over by a truck. Shoes box inside was also pretty damaged. Shoes looked as if they were a return. Leather was scuffed. For this price my shoes need to arrive in pristine shape. Returned!

L-O-V-E!!! These are not only my new casual chic sandals, they are also my new slippers! They are the most comfy pair of shoes I own besides my ASICS (only wayyyyy more aesthetically pleasing to the eye). I highly recommend. I have wide feet with very high arches. These felt true to size for my feet.

A beautiful Birkenstock! Runs true to normal size. The material is a little stiffer, but I got used to it in a day and now alternate these mud greens with the high shine black ones (loved the black so much I had to have a second pair). The buckles are much larger, which I think is a trendy and fashionable upgrade that gives these Birks a polished look. I am very happy with them and receive compliments.

So after reading many reviews , I decided to just order them ! You can always return them if needed , right ? I have always worn a 39 in Birks , for 25 + years ! However the last pair of Arizona’s I got last year seemed short . So I ordered a 40. They are perfect . I feel no difference in the width (I got the narrow) . I don’t feel that this shoe is stiff compared to my others . Actually feels a little less than the others when new. I did have a spot on top of my foot where the straps over lap that immediately hurt . I read others had that too . I put a band aid on the strap that was causing that and it’s gone . It was only on one foot . I absolutely love these , the large buckle and shine make them more feminine and a tad dressier ! I will order another color soon!

I love Birkenstocks and was so excited to get these. I first time I wore them, they rubbed the top of foot raw near the buckle. Not the comfort that normally come from Birkenstocks. I am not sure how to make it better and I have thought about returning.
